 The first day of the rest of my life?

I'm a financial institutions attorney with 15 years of service in the federal government and today I start work as an Administrative Assistant at a non-profit Community Revitalization Center. I would have never thought that my career would have taken such a path. However, it's the place that I believe that I've been led to by God and I'm so excited to embark on this next phase of my life. Something tells me that amazing things are about to happen.

Anyway, I think this quote sums up today quite well...

Attorney??? somehow I missed that one!!! (speaking to himself, "Ron, put away all those lawyers jokes!!). Ok,, back now - I have sneaky feeling you will use all those skills of your lifetime where you are now - and imagine using these skills to make your community a better place to live. Hey Ron, don't worry about the attorney jokes...I think that they're funny. Topaz has posted some real good ones. But you are right I'll be using a lot of my prior skills in this position. And the thought for taking care of people and the community seems like a perfect thing to be focusing on right now. It's time that I put all of the blessing that God has given to me to use to help others out. Cause that's what it's all about, right? Take care my friend and have a wonderful evening.

Hey Night Bug, thanks for the kind words sweetie. Now that you mention it I think it might be time to get Wonder Woman out again...you still got Cat Woman over there with ya. (cue the super hero music)

But seriously congrats on your award. I've always thought that your writing was truly inspired. Keep it up, OK?
